JINGXIAN, Anhui – Jingxian County in Anhui Province has been officially awarded the title “Home of Fluoropolymer Pumps” by the China General Machinery Industry Association (CGMA). The prestigious recognition was formally communicated via an official notification from the association’s Pump Branch.
The designation follows a comprehensive review process initiated upon the county government’s application for the title, “China Home of Fluoropolymer Pumps – Jingxian County, Anhui.” The CGMA Pump Branch, upon approval from the parent association, convened an expert panel to conduct a thorough on-site evaluation of the local fluoropolymer pump industry. The findings and recommendations of the expert review were subsequently examined and ratified by the CGMA’s executive council.
According to the official notice, the “Home of Fluoropolymer Pumps” title is granted for a period of five years, effective immediately from the date of issuance.
In its notification, the CGMA expressed expectations for Jingxian County to leverage this accolade as a catalyst for further industrial advancement. The association urged the county to intensify support for the fluoropolymer pump sector and its upstream and downstream supply chains. Key recommended focus areas include optimizing the industrial layout, enhancing the development of specialized industrial parks, and driving the high-quality growth of the fluoropolymer pump industry.
Furthermore, the CGMA encouraged Jingxian to strategically align with national development opportunities anticipated in the upcoming 15th Five-Year Plan period. The aim is to contribute significantly to both the enhancement of the local economy and the innovative development of China’s fluoropolymer pump industry at large.
The title underscores Jingxian County’s prominent position and concentrated expertise in the manufacturing of fluoropolymer pumps—a critical component used in handling corrosive fluids across various sectors including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and electronics. This national-level recognition is expected to bolster the region’s industrial reputation and foster sustained growth in this specialized engineering field.
