Safety production is always prioritized. To improve employees’ disaster prevention and emergency response capabilities, and eliminate potential factory hazards, Luhuan Pump Valve Co., Ltd organized a fire emergency drill to consolidate overall production safety.
Practical Drill & Standard Operation
This fire drill aimed to raise fire safety awareness and protect staff and workshop environments. Simulated fire hazard scenes were set outside the workshop to reproduce common production risks. During the drill, employees quickly reached designated positions, skillfully used dry powder fire extinguishers, and accurately sprayed the root of the fire following standard procedures. All initial open fires were extinguished effectively to prevent fire spreading.
Regular Inspection & Equipment Maintenance
Fire-fighting equipment is essential for emergency rescue. The company has established a normalized inspection system for fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, and emergency indicator lights. Daily inspections focus on expired medicine, insufficient pressure, aging hoses, damaged equipment, unclear marks and blocked facilities. All fire equipment is regularly inspected, recorded and replaced to ensure stable working conditions and solid hardware safety guarantees.
Summary & Deficiency Analysis
The drill revealed several shortcomings. Some staff felt nervous and lacked operating proficiency. Individual employees showed low awareness and slow response. Team cooperation was not coordinated enough, and partial equipment placement was non-standard. Further training will be strengthened to improve safety awareness and standardized operation.
Targeted Rectification & Strict Management
All hidden problems were sorted into a rectification list with clear responsibilities, measures and time limits for closed-loop improvement. The fire emergency plan was optimized to refine emergency procedures, safety responsibilities, inspection standards and evacuation regulations.
In the future, fire drills, safety training and hazard inspections will be normalized. Regular practical training and knowledge courses will continuously strengthen employees’ safety awareness and emergency capabilities, comprehensively improving the factory’s risk prevention and rescue level.
