The LZC pump employs static sealing in place of dynamic shaft seals, keeping all wetted components fully enclosed. This eliminates the common drawbacks of mechanical‑seal pumps, such as running‑out, bubbling, dripping and leakage. The pump casing and wetted parts are available in corrosion‑resistant stainless steel, ceramics, PTFE‑graphite, carbon graphite, cemented carbide and other materials. It inherits all advantages of the LCQ magnetic pump and features self‑priming capability: no bottom valve or pre‑priming water is required. Simply start the pump, and it is ready for operation for easy‑to‑use convenience.

This pump adopts an externally‑mixed axial‑return casing design. The pump body consists of a suction chamber, liquid‑storage chamber, volute, backflow orifice, gas‑liquid separation chamber and other components (refer to the structural drawing). Upon startup, the impeller agitates residual liquid inside the suction chamber together with air from the suction pipeline into a gas‑liquid mixture by centrifugal force. The mixture flows through the volute into the gas‑liquid separation chamber. As flow velocity drops, gas‑liquid separation takes place: air is discharged via the pump outlet, while liquid flows back into the pump through the backflow orifice. After several such cycles, air inside the suction pipeline is fully expelled, creating partial vacuum to realize the self‑priming function.
